The EDCI338 course has given me a new perspective on PLN. I use social platforms daily, but I’ve never considered using them as a PLN. Now I realize that setting up PLN on social media is an innovative way of learning and will bring many benefits to our study. When I took this course, I realized that many experts and learners set up a particular study discussion group for the field on the Internet. In the EDCI338 class, I learned how to create my own PLN, manage and participate in the PLN and interact on social media. PLN is diverse and inclusive. Nowadays, the Internet can make our learning styles more diverse, and we can also discuss problems with people from different countries in PLN. In the final assignment, our team also experienced disagreements, but everyone respected each other and tried to build a benign environment for our PLN. Of course, what impressed me most in the class was the risk of PLN. Although PLN can promote our study, we should also learn to protect our privacy and guard against fraud. This semester’s course is a valuable experience for me, and I will continue to develop my PLN field in future studies. I believe they can provide great help for my future development.
